Barbecue
Written by Douglas Firestein
I try to turn a blind eye
Consider everything normal
But seeing you sleep around
It’s far beyond hormonal
There’s a line in the sand
You crossed it awful fast
When that young white pool boy
Chlorinated your ass
You complained I’m selfish
That I don’t meet your needs
It’s hard going down on a skank
When a brother needs to breathe
Tie you to the bed posts
Insert a kerosene tampon
Light that sucker up
Make your crotch Filet Mignon
When the neighbors come over
To join the barbecue
They’ll have no idea
They’re munching down on you
Ooh, Ooh
Munching on you
I hid in the bushes
While the two of you swam
But when you left to smoke
I decided to jump in
With a hand on his head
I held his body down
He’ll be the next insect
The pool filter found
You complained I’m selfish
That I don’t meet your needs
It’s hard going down on a skank
When a brother needs to breathe
Tie you to the bed posts
Insert a kerosene tampon
Light that sucker up
Make your crotch Filet Mignon
When the neighbors come over
To join the barbecue
They’ll have no idea
They’re munching down on you
Ooh, Ooh
Munching on you
Red and blue lights
Fill the evening sky
But it’s not the police
Just the fourth of July
I remember the good days
Before the barbecue
If I lick my lips gently
I can almost taste you
Tie you to the bed posts
Insert a kerosene tampon
Light that sucker up
Make your crotch Filet Mignon
When the neighbors come over
To join the barbecue
They’ll have no idea
They’re munching down on you
Ooh, Ooh
Munching on you
