Bulge
Written by Douglas Firestein
This new musical style
Is wrecking my voice
I used to sing deep
Now I sound like a boy
Hitting those high notes
Like a suckas face
I’m just trying to stay hip
Though I feel out of place
I still have the mojo
I’m full of the same juice
So I just keep doing
What I was born to do…..
Sing for my supper
Dance for the ladies
I might look a lot older
But I still drive them crazy
You ask “what’s my secret?”
And I’m happy to divulge
I just shake it on the stage
And point down at my bulge
I’ll be happy a while
This sound was my choice
I write lyrics in my sleep
While snores compose noise
I like a lot of new singers
They have a familiar face
They could be my kids
Cos I banged a lot of babes
Critics just leave me alone
Cos I do whatever I choose
Treble is a brewing
I made that pun for you…..
Sing for my supper
Dance for the ladies
I might look a lot older
But I still drive them crazy
You ask “what’s my secret?”
And I’m happy to divulge
I just shake it on the stage
And point down at my bulge
I sang this in a different voice
Because it’s an album track
Tucked away on a release
My fans will consider whack
Sing for my supper
Dance for the ladies
I might look a lot older
But I still drive them crazy
You ask “what’s my secret?”
And I’m happy to divulge
I just shake it on the stage
And point down at my bulge
